A high-level dialogue on Mexico’s complex roles in the contemporary migration landscape.
This event brings together distinguished academic experts and policymakers, including Dr. Pia Orrenius, Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and Ambassador Reyna Torres, Consul General of Mexico in Chicago. Through cutting-edge academic presentations and a dynamic roundtable discussion, we will explore the multiple dimensions of migration in, from, and through Mexico—from the climatic and economic drivers of population movements to the implications for regional public policy.
This collaboration between Tecnológico de Monterrey and the University of Notre Dame offers a unique opportunity to bridge leading research with practical strategies to address one of the most pressing challenges in our region. We aim to bring together international perspectives and specialized knowledge to shed light on the complexities of human mobility in the Mexican context.
